Kensaku Kakimoto
Director/Cinematographer/Photographer
Manager of theatre-tokyo
Working at films, TV commercials, music video and others as a videographer and photographer. He thinks mush of cutting and shooting the things, which we can’t express in words, such as atmosphere, temperature and emotions, and produces his works on the motto of “Think globally Act locally”.
Began making his first pieces in his school days, while gaining experience in films and music videos as an assistant director, and worked under Hiroyuki Nakano in Nakano’s peace promoting production unit “Peace Brothers” as its youngest member. In 2005, he completed his first independent feature film “COLORS” and made cinema debut with “Sleeping Flower”.
