Charlie drags along his buddy Lyon on a stake out to spy on his cheating pregnant wife. 'The Apple of my Pie' is a dark-comedy about the struggle between two friends and an impending murder.
Director's message:
Is death a worth punishment for those who defile the sanctity of marriage? Set in the heartlands of Singapore, The Apple of my Pie explores the emotional conflict of dealing with betrayal within a marriage, as two characters are caught in a web of conflict motivated by guilt, vengeance and fear.

About the filmmaker
In his early years, Tariq Mansor would write out scenes inspired by his favourite childhood films and re-enact them together with his relatives in the bedroom. Growing up with that passion for cinema, he enrolled in Temasek Polytechnic, diploma in 'Moving Images'.
During his years as a student, his film 'Going Away', won Overall Best Student Film in the ciNE65 Film Competition. Tariq directed his Final Year Project titled 'I've Got This Friend' which starred known local talents; Charlie Goh and Ian Teng. 'The Apple of my Pie' is the first indie production that was produced and self-funded by a team of passionate and driven film-enthusiast.
